Visiting the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park

Nationals Park
I came for the Braves (42-44), as they were inching ever closer to .500. They were facing the first place Nationls (51-36).

Box Score

Freeman up to bat.
Freeman fractured his wrist back in May, and leading up to the game I was dejected that I wouldn't get to see him play. I was quite happy to discover that Freeman planned to return July 4, playing third base.
The Braves crushed that Nationals 13-0. Pitcher Julio Teheran went 2-2 with 3 rbi. Markakis and Adams homered. There was a healthy contingent of Braves fans in left field,
National Park opened in 2008 and adheres to strict environmentally friendly and energy efficient standards to become the first LEED certified professional sports stadium in the United States.
